“Shift fun adult workshop was an eye opening experience for me. Working in civil service before joining Save the Children, I never got to interact with children or youth therefore this was an enriching experience for me because.
Now a year after joining Save the Children, I am confident in calling myself a fun adult all thanks to the Fun Adult Workshop. It taught us ways to communicate and connect with children which I think no other organizations ever do. I have also made it a point to further train more staffs of Save the Children Bhutan as Fun Adult in my own capacity. I aspire to create more Fun Adults in Bhutan.
For an organization that caters its services to children and youth, I feel all staff at some point must attend the Fun Adult Workshop to think like children and youth and put empathy first in delivering the services to them. With or without the Shift Campaign/project, I can envision Fun Adult could be a common approach.”
